Congratulations to Gunner Mize for being selected as the MVES representative for the FRYSC Coalition of KY Legislative Page Days! This incredible opportunity allowed Gunner to experience a real-life civic lesson by actively participating in a session of the 2025 KY General Assembly.
On February 27th, Gunner, along with his parents, Brian and Courtney Mize, traveled to the Capitol, where he proudly served as a Legislative Page in the House or Senate chamber. We are so proud of Gunner for representing MVES in this prestigious role!

Mrs. Kirbie’s kindergarten class had the honor of taking care of the food box this past week! Thanks to so many generous donations, they were able to visit the box three times! We appreciate everyone who contributed to helping our community. Kindness in action! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride
Our Mustang Archers had an impressive showing at Shopville Elementary this weekend!! They placed 4th in the elementary division, with a team score of 2,210- their highest team score this year!! 🎉🎉
Our archers were led by Liam Williams (244- personal best- team male high score for the season) and Trinity Tanner (239). Liam ranked ninth out of all elementary boys for this weekend’s match, with Trinity ranking sixth out of all elementary girls. Christian Smith (203) also broke the 200 threshold this weekend! We appreciate their consistency and leadership of these archers!

Several of these archers demonstrated SIGNIFICANT growth since their last matches, and we are incredibly proud of their progress.
Other Mustangs with impressive performances were: Kinley Hunt (184), Aribella Smith (178), Tucker Hasty (156), Destiny Reynolds (147), Branson Lamb (130), and Forrest Thompson (119).
The growth, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and skill demonstrated by our Mustang Archers is inspiring, and we are so proud!! 🏹❤️🤍🖤

Today was a big day! Mustangs had a blast enjoying the first phase of our playground expansion. A huge thank you to Rockcastle Co Schools and everyone who made this possible. We’re so excited to see the kids having fun in this new space, and we can't wait for the next phase!
