🍂 Fall has brought LOTS of hands-on learning, curious minds, and BIG discoveries to Ms. Kara and Ms. Chelsey’s preschool classrooms!
From tasting and comparing apples to exploring the ooey-gooey insides of pumpkins, our little learners have been busy becoming SCIENTISTS!
We’ve used our senses, made educated guesses (predictions), tested our theories, and learned that sometimes our guesses are wrong—and that's perfectly OKAY! That's how scientists learn!
One of our favorite things about preschool is watching little minds make BIG connections! We're building vocabulary, practicing communication, exploring early math and science concepts, and strengthening critical thinking skills—all through PLAY!

Mrs. Charon’s class had the privilege of collecting food donations for the food cabinet near our school to help support individuals and families in our county who are experiencing hunger or homelessness. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and are proud to play a small part in helping those in need!

Our first grade Mustangs had the best attendance in the school the Friday before fall break! Their field trip meant waiting a little longer to celebrate, but today they enjoyed throwing water balloons at Scuba Matt… we mean Mr. Brown!
Thanks to Mr. Brown for making their celebration so much fun!
It pays to be at school!

Who says learning about plot structure can’t be FUN?!
A big THANK YOU to Mr. Scarbro for stopping by Mrs. Bobbie’s 5th grade reading classes to sing “Plot Plot Baby”with us! Our students are working hard on understanding plot structure, and having a little music, laughter, and fun mixed into learning makes it even better!
Nothing like turning a reading lesson into a classroom performance! These kids may never look at plot structure the same way again!
Thanks, Mr. Scarbro, for making learning memorable!
