Mrs. Kami’s kindergarteners had a blast exploring what happens when you mix candy, vinegar, and baking soda in their “pumpkin belly” experiment! The class investigated the question: “What does too much candy do to your belly?”
Each student added a piece of candy, then watched in excitement as the vinegar and baking soda created a fizzy, bubbly reaction. It was a fun and memorable way to learn about chemical reactions — and to see science in action!
