This year, our fourth graders are participating in a 20 Book Challenge! Congrats to those students who have read at least 7 chapter books so far. They earned a Build-A-Bear Reading Buddy, thanks to First Book and The Build-A-Bear Foundation! Keep up the great reading and keep pushing toward the challenge goals!
We wrapped up our Merry Mustang Spirit Week in the coziest way possible— with Silent Night Pajama Day!
🎄Preschool Holiday Celebration🎄
MVES Preschool has been busy the last 2 weeks working in Santa’s bake shop, playing in gingerbread houses, making presents for families, and having FUN! Preschool is more than meets the eye. Our students are learning to problem solve, share, verbalize wants and needs, identify emotions, create pre-writing strokes, think critically, make scientific connections, and they are gaining new cognitive skills every day! Albert Einstein said it best “play is the highest form of research” 🎁 🖍️ 📚

Mrs. Jennifer's class has adopted the community food box this week. What a blessing it is to give and tend to something to help others.
Staff at MVES had a blast participating in our Festive Friend Connect Four activity! Everyone enjoyed searching for their festive friends and joining in the holiday fun.
