Mrs. Shepherd’s first grade class had a blast practicing subitizing with a round of Quiz, Quiz, Trade! Students did an amazing job coaching and celebrating their friends. Cooperative learning makes math so much fun!

Will work for STICKERS! 🎉 Our 5th graders have been working hard this week—and it shows! 💪📚 During our figurative language lesson, students rotated through learning stations and tackled metaphors, similes, idioms, and more with focus and determination. 🧠✨ It was incredible to see them collaborating, thinking critically, and having fun while deepening their understanding of language. Way to go, 5th grade—you made this lesson come alive! 💬🔥

Mrs. Shepherd’s first grade class made a Friendship Salad to end the first week of school! Students promised to use respectful words, show kindness, share, work hard, and be happy. They left out the Rotten Banana —no unkind words or bullying allowed! Everyone enjoyed eating their friendship salad and celebrating a great start to the year!

Art Class is up and going! Students learned some new Art Vocabulary this Rotation. Using different types of “Media” to make Art. We topped the week off by using cake icing to draw on graham crackers! Pretty “sweet” way to end the first week of school. 🐴❤️🎨 #MustangPride
