Mrs. Callahan’s second grade math classes have enjoyed two fun, hands-on days learning about graphs! First, students sorted Skittles by color and created a graph to show their data. Today, they took their learning outside for a little basketball fun! Students shot basketballs, used tally marks to record how many baskets they made, and then graphed their results. These Mustangs are discovering that math is all around them—and it’s even more fun when they get to be part of the data!

Third Grade had a marvelous field trip to Regency Cinemas and Veterans Park in London! Students have been reading “The Wild Robot” with their animal adaptations unit and wrapped up their learning by watching the movie on the big screen!

Mrs. Martin’s and Mrs. Tabitha’s 4th grade classes enjoyed some fall science fun! Students made predictions and tested candy corn in different solutions, then experimented with vinegar and baking soda inside a carved pumpkin. The pumpkin got a little “sick”! A big thank you to Carol Sigmon for donating the pumpkins! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride

Learning is all connected in Mrs. Martin’s and Mrs. Tabitha’s fourth grade classes! Students explored multiples and factors with Spider Math, learned about spiders and how they make their webs in science, and continued their learning by reading about spiders!

Our 3rd–5th grade Mustangs danced their way through a fun afternoon at our Scare Drugs Away Halloween Dance! We loved seeing our Mustangs having fun with friends and celebrating being drug free! ❤️🐴🖤 #MustangPride
